iExit became available for download on January 7th, well ahead of schedule. Despite it having only been in the store for under two weeks, it has already received some good press. Below are some early reviews of iExit.

iExit version 1.1 is already well underway and is close to being ready for the App Store.  If Apple’s approval process is just as fast as it was with version 1.0, it could be in the App Store as early as next week.

We’ve received lots of good feedback from early adopters and have used that feedback to prioritize features for version 1.1.  Below are the main features you’ll find in the next update.

  • Points of interest will now be visible in the Map View
  • Updated views that display relative directions and distances for points of interest from exits.  For example, you’ll know a Walmart is 0.2 miles North of exit 182, which depending on your driving direction might be left or right.
  • Lots of new and updated POI data.

There will be a lot more information to follow regarding iExit 1.1, so be sure to check back soon!
