There’s no denying it. Mobile computing is the next big thing. Whether you look at the success of the iPhone, the attention surrounding Google’s Android, the sharply increasing trends in mobile search, or a slew of other signs, it’s clear that mobile computing is not only here to stay, but that we’ve only seen the beginning of it. Despite these trends, many companies are slow to accept this technological shift as fact. Or even if they accept it, they’re slow to adapt. Metrocket was started with the intention of helping these companies adapt to the mobile platform and in turn, improve the avenues by which they deliver data to their customers.
The motto at Metrocket is “Building Smarter Software.” The key to building “smart software” is to have it running on “smart data.” Almost every piece of software being developed at Metrocket involves working with large amounts of valuable data and delivering only what is relevant to you, the user. For many companies, a GPS-enabled mobile device can be a much more ideal software platform than a desktop or laptop, hence the focus on iPhone development.
